In Time Maschine Backup damaged?

Hello,
my fathers "windows 10.pvm" in the Time Maschine Backups is very small. It is ca 300MB - 325MB.
Now I can not restore it!! What is wrong?
Please can you help me? He has his finance in it.

Hi Steve, looks like that Windows VM wasn't backed up completely or worked during the back up process.
Do you have any other backup copy?
