Running windows xp/parallels in coherence mode, I am unable to open a CD using a program on the MAC. It keeps opening up the windows programs. How can I tell the computer to use the CD in a MAC program, not windows?
While in Parallels, use the full window mode so you see the icons at the bottom right that indicate hard drive, USB, CDs, etc. Disconnect the CD one by choosing Disconnect in its menu and the CD will then appear on your Mac desktop.
