install parallels/windows7 on 2006 mac pro 3GHz dual core processor

Will the latest version of parallels run windows7 on my late 2006 mac pro 3GHz dual core processor? Apple says the snow leopard bootcamp version does not support window 7 installation, so I was wondering if this is also an issue in parallels.

Also will latest version of parallels work with leopard 10.5.8? and if so, can I install windows7, 32 or 64bit versions?

It's not supported by Apple, but I think it can be done. I have a similar laptop (core 2 duo late 2006 with 3gb memory) and was wondering the same thing.
