I have used sqlserver 2014 for many years in my MacBook Pro 2014 x Paralles x Windows 10. Now I did an upgrade to MacBook Air x Parallels 17 x Windows11. I am tring to install SQL Server Express (2014, 2017 and 2019) but unsuccessful in all versions (undefined error). Anybody has an idea for solution? I can see on youtube many people showing yours instalations of SQLServer Express on Windows 11 in standalone machine without issues.
