I took the precaution of creating a Parallels (9) version of 10.8 when I upgraded to Mavericks because I wanted to continue to run Airport Utility 5.6.1.
However, AppStore on the guest now wants to update the Thunderbolt Firmware - so the question is: is it safe to install this - or will it break the host machine? I am unclear about the separation between guests and the host.
