Install tools in build 4.0.3810 kills network connection

Updated 4.0 to new build and had to reinstall Parallels tools and after install can no longer connect to domain to open virtual machine. Have to revert back to original snapshot without tools installed to connect.
 
Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not found. if you get this error go to the "Devices" -> "Network adapter" menu and try to switch between "Shared networking" and "Bridged Ethernet (Default Adapter)" several times, each time with a new attempt to log in.
 
still an issue, Guest OS= XPPro

Thanks Srinivasulu's approach and did not work. that said, that's kind of a square one option as i had tried other networking options and that should not be the issue, if it is there is a bug in the upgrade. Also, to answer John i am using XP Pro as the guest OS and now the issue is not just after installing Ptools as i have not yet installed parallel tools and am still having this issue and have to revert to previous snapshot just to log in. I am not installing any other software and nothing changes on my PC configuration. Kinda annoying. Wait, i do have reinstall all of my fonts in the windows font folder because the previous snapshot was without all the fonts that use on a daily basis. This however should not impact parallels in any way.
 
The Network adapter should not be an issue anyways

Regardless if i'm connected to a network or not, i should not be having this issue. before the update to the new build i could be anywhere and log in to the Virtual Machine as after the first a network user logs into that machine it keeps track if we can log into it again. i never needed network access before and i definitely won't always be connected to the domain when i need to log into the virtual machine.
