Installation issues of Outlook 2013 on Parallels Desktop 8

I am having a tough time installing Outlook 2013 on PD8. When I go through account configuration process the outlook cannot connect to the server. Usually all it needs is your email and password which didn't work so I moved on to inputting server address, no luck there as well.... Does anyone know if it has something to do with PD8 blocking outlook to communicate with the server or is it simply outlook 2013 issue (which i don't think due to identical settings with outlook 2010) I do know that the server definitely works and communicates with other computers/operating systems. Any help is appreciated.
 
Hey AndreiS,

First, please make sure your VM is connected to the internet. Try to open any website in Internet Explorer.

If it does, try to play with Network Adapter settings: go to Virtual Machine --> Configure --> Hardware --> Network and try to switch it between Shared and Bridged.
 
I'll try to switch between shared and bridged but I know for sure I have an Internet connection as I visited a number of website via vm.
