I am trying to install a copy of Sierra in Parallels. I keep getting this error message (see below) that there is not enough disk space. I configured the virtual machine with 128 gb of disk space.
What can I do to get around this problem.

  2. You don't install to the Base System ... thats the small system that gets booted to install and use Recovery mode. You need to install to Macintosh HD - assuming its your 128 GB virtual disk (double check it).

Hi @JohnS50, please quit and cancel the existing virtual machine, open the macOS virtual machine's Installation Assistant, "install Windows or another OS from the DVD or image file" -> Continue -> choose "macOS", "once after creating disk image file.." has done, in the Installation Assistant wizard, choose "Customize settings before installation" ->Create -> macOS' Configuration Hardware -> Hard Disk 1 -> Properties -> decrease(resize) it to the desired value and click "Apply" and then follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
