Installation problems - please help ?

I have an early 2014 MacBook Air that I have installed the latest versions of MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and Windows 10 on, using Bootcamp.

I now want to load Paralells Desktop 13 but when carrying out the installation the MacBook Air hangs and displays the following message :-

Network Bootrom is installed.
Trying to boot from SATA Drive 1....

Nothing more happens. I can boot both into Windows 10 and High Sierra using the Option button so these installations are working. Searching for solutions has not yielded any improvement. Is there a relatively easy fix or should I deactivate Bootcamp, install Parallels and then load Windows 10 ?
 
Hello IanG7, you can use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment to troubleshoot and repair the following items in Windows:
1.A master boot record (MBR).
2.A boot sector.
3.A Boot Configuration Data (BCD) store.If still the issue persists, please follow as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/122922 and see if this helps. Thanks!
 
I am having the exact same issue but with at 2017 iMac.

Bootcamp boots just fine stand alone but the same message(s) as above when trying to use Parallels Desktop 13. It doesn't make sense to me that the Windows installation is corrupt since everything works fine when booted as a windows machine. Any other advice?

Hi @macsurveyr, could you please go to Help menu of Parallels Desktop application and send us the technical data report via Send Technical Data... menu item? Then, post the number here.
 
Okay, so I have put this off for a while but I am wanting to get this figured out.

Are there any suggestions? Complete reinstall of Parallels? Anything?

Do I need to open up another support request?
