Installing Quickbooks for Windows

Can someone tell me how the heck to install software that runs only in Windows? For example, I want to install Quickbooks but of course Mac doesn't recognize it. How do I get Windows/Parallels to see the disk and install it?

If you use CD/DVD to install start Windows, make sure that in the devices -> CD/DVD-ROM connect to default is checked, insert CD/DVD and install as if you were in windows.
If you want to install a program using installation file downloaded from the internet or that is on your mac, just open it in Windows by double clicking on it (extensions of the files are usually .exe).
