Hi!
I have been testing 2X together with Novell ZEN For Desktops. Current version (ZFD 7) and the upcoming version ZCM/Pulsar. Both have support right out ofthe box for plain RDP and ICA, but not for 2X.
I can however launch a seamless app from the ZDF/ZCM launcher just fine, either by calling the client with command line arguments or by pointing to a 2xa file. Question is one of authentication.
What options do I have so that the user does not have to authenticate? There is no guarantee that there will be any AD present. At most a domain with the PDC on NetWare or Linux.
I played with the thought to use a generic account for all users. They will have no per user settings on the Windows box anyway and they will only be able to load/save from/to their network drives from the client.
Opinions anyone?
