I'm trying to access the internet in a host only network. I believe this should be possible by sharing my OS X internet connection with the 'Parallels Host-Only #1' network adapter. The problem is that in 'system preferences > sharing > internet sharing' the adapter is not listed in 'to computers using:'.

So what I want to do is share your connection from 'WIFI' to 'Parallels Host-Only #1'.

Hello Doovers, Host only mode is similar to Shared mode except the virtual subnet that is created by Parallels Desktop (10.37.129.x) is isolated from the outer world. As a result, the virtual machine that is working in host-only mode can only see and ping the Mac it is running on.
Please refer http://kb.parallels.com/4948 to know more about network modes.
