Hello Joe, please reinstall Parallels tools as suggested in the article and let us know how it goes.Hello
I updated to Sierra and have now discovered that my Windows XP is no longer connected to the internet.
How can I regain connection please?
Thanks
Joe
Hi @JoeS9, please check to see which networking mode is selected, Shared or Bridged. Try switching between the two, then switching back.Hello Swati
Thank you for your very prompt response.
I re-installed Parallels tools, but I still have no internet connection when I go into XP.
What can I try now?
Thanks
Joe
Could you please check and let us know what version of Parallels Desktop you're currently running?Hi Paul Chris
This is not working and I am getting the following message: failed to open the parallels networking module. I need to start working on a Windows app tomorrow - is there any chance you could take over my computer and do the command prompt diagnosis/fix? I am getting a little desperate here...
Thank you for sharing the information. Parallels Desktop 8 is not compatible and optimized version of macOS Sierra (10.12.5). Please check this article. The issue which you're experiencing is due to incompatibility. I'd suggest you to purchase the full version of Parallels Desktop 12 and install on your Mac computer.Build 8.0.18619
