iPhone App Mouse Pointer does not follow touches

I upgraded to Parallels Desktop 6.0 and installed the Parallels App 2.1.267 on my new iPhone 4.
I have installed Windows XP as a virtual machine, as well as Ubuntu.

The machines show up immediately and nicely on the iPhone, however, I can't use them. Where ever I touch on the screen, the mouse pointer does not move there and consequently no action is taken.
When clicking somewhere, sometimes the mouse pointer moves somewhere else on the screen, but never where I have clicked on.
Using the keyboard, it works (but using the keyboard only with windows is not very efficient)

Anyone having the same problem and a resolution?

Do you have Parallels Tools installed into your virtual machines? If so, is SmartMouse enabled in VM config (Virtual Machine->Configure->Options->Advanced). Clicking works only if SmartMouse is enabled and Tools are installed.
