irql_not_less_or_equal

Dear Tech Gurus,

I installed parallels desktop for mac v6 which was flawless. When i tried to install windows xp sp2 professional onto it it gave me an error"irql_not_less_or_equal". I selected 1 cpu frpm the settings as told by the parallels forum but it didn't correct the problem. Does anyone know how to get rid of this error and proceed with xp installation.

I had the same problem, iMac i3 CPU. When setting number of CPUs to 1 it works. Any number other than 1 will crash into IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
