Is Toolbox required?

I have and use Parallels Desktop, but I have no need of Toolbox. I could try to ignore it, but it keeps popping up at the most inconvenient times to install itself. Is it necessary for Desktop to operate? If not how do I stop it from downloading every time there is an update?

Parallels Tools is part of Parallels Desktop product, whereas Parallels Toolbox is a completely separate application.
Parallels Tools is needed for virtual machine to function correctly. It is important for it to be installed.
Kindly provide with a screenshot of the window where Parallels Toolbox installation window is popping up ?
