hi all...
i am running parallels 3 (build 5626) on a 15" MBP and just recently installed ubuntu 8.10 as a vm.
i am in the process of trying to install parallels tools, but keep getting this error:
Installation for xorg.1.5 not found.
i made sure that i ran the apt-get for linux-headers etc. prior to trying to install p-tools, and i can successfully mount the cdrom and can execute the "sh parallels-tools.run" command, but continue to get the error above.
i have shut down completely (both the vm and even as far as a complete shut down on the mbp)...nothing seems to help. i did notice in my search for an answer, that another user running fedora core 9 was experiencing the same error, however it was determined that fedora core 9 was not supported in parallels. is ubuntu 8.10 supported? if so...could anyone help me figure this out?
any assistance is much appreciated.
cheers!
