Issue with 11990. CD Rom Disappars after increasing RAM size

Steps to recreate:
Install Windows 7 (I had enterprise 64bit)
Install all windows updates
Default settings for VM uses 1 Gig of ram and 65Gig of HD space
Shut down computer rand change the RAM Setting from 1 Gig to anything over 2Gig
CD ROM goes missing

Change ram back to 2Gig or under
CD ROM Reappears.

Can anyone else confirm this? I have tried with and without the Parallels Tools installed with the same results.
 
I have the same exact problem. I couldn't get my VMs to even install when selecting 4GB as the size when I initially configured them. What is up with this??
