Issues with New Mac 2X Client

Hi guys,

I would like to find out work arounds for the following bugs that we have found with the new Mac 2X Client (Version 7.0.637 (7.0.637.0). We offer a hosted version of our software product to clients using the 2X client and we would like to recommend the customers that are using Mac's to upgrade however these few things are concerning so we would like to know if there are ways to work around them until 2X bring out a new version.

1. Time Zones. When logging in to a server's desktop 2X does not pass through the correct time zone that the client is running under and the time therefore defaults go GMT. This is a serious problem for us as it means that transactions are being entered with incorrect timestamps.

2. Right clicking using ('control' + touchpad) does not work. This is more of an annoyance than anything as you need to take a mouse with you rather than being able to use the touchpad.

3. Applications disappear once they are open. When you open certain published applications, there is no Dock icon for it and you are unable to find it using 'command' + 'tab'. The only way to open the application is to use the Show All Application Windows feature and click on the application in question. This is the case with our main application that we are hosting for clients.

I would really appreciate any assistance anyone can give me with these three items so that we can move forward with using the new version which has much more functionality than the old version.

Also has anyone found any other bugs with the new client? And what is the official method of reporting bugs with 2X software?

It's seems to only affect VB6 applications and not .Net. We have several internal applications and our main application that still use VB6.

I could have our programmers build a sample application to demonstrate what is happening.

Also, I have logged a support request for these issues but thought I should probably throw it to the community also to get some other people's thought's experiences.

OmeGa - did you ever resolve the issue about the application icon not showing in the dock?
We too publish VB6 apps via 2X but because there is no dock icon once an app is minimised to the dock it dissapears!

Could you please confirm that issue exists with latest 2X Mac Client version 7.1.659 ?
