    Hello everyone,
I've never used Parallels before. Currently I'm in the process of evaluating all my possible options for a new laptop, macOS vs. Windows etc.

An important question for supporting my decision making process:
    - is it possible to connect an external Windows keyboard while using Parallels and use it the exact same way as a „real" windows keyboard would be?

    Thanks

    Hello GeorgiG,

Thank you for considering Parallels Desktop as a choice for your virtual appliances.

Yes, you may by default make use of your external keyboards when using Parallels Desktop.

To fully test Parallel Desktop's functionality in relation to your preferred environment, we would recommend you take advantage of our free 14-day trial offer and see if it meets your needs.
You may download the trial version of Parallels Desktop by visiting this link https://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/trial/ and clicking on Download Free trial

Yes, you can connect an external Windows keyboard when using Parallels and use it just like a "real" Windows keyboard. Parallels supports a wide range of external keyboards, including USB, Bluetooth, and Thunderbolt keyboards.

Thank you Adeboye. I installed the Trial but had too much going on at work and didn't really have time to test it properly. Now it has expired. Is there a way to re-install the Trial again?
