I'm using an iPhone SE2022 and iTunes on Windows 10 to synchronize my audio books (since "Books" on Mac OS does not allow to define the path where the library is stored).
This combination worked until march /april but since a few weeks, it doesn't.
The iPhone is connected to the VM, at device manager, the "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" is V 6.0.9999 / 05-18-2015.
But at iTunes, no iPhone is shown...
After searching for an driver update, it's now V 538.0.0.0 / 06-14-2023 but this driver shows an error: "device could not be started. (Code 10)"
Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPhone loads "Apple Mobile Device USB Device" and "Apple Mobile Device USB Composite Device", both V 538.0.0.0 / 06-14-2023
The iPhone is shown at Windows Explorer, but not at iTunes...
I tried the same on a Windows 11 VM - with the same results
Any ideas?
