Joining a closed mac network from windows

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro with Parrallels on it. We have several macs at home and I have set up a network using a mac base station. It is a closed network and password protected. I am accessing my home network using OSX on my MacBook Pro the same way I am on the other computers in the house. However, when I access the internet using Windows on my MacBook Pro I am not sure whose network I am using, it just does it and I can't tell whose network it is (could be a neighbors). How do I tell what network I am accessing in Windows and how do I connect to my home closed password protected base station network using windows? Thanks for your help.

Windows is accessing your network. As far as Windows is concerned, it's connected to a wired Ethernet. It has no knowledge that it's actually a wireless network.

Just to add a bit to that explanation, your wireless card will only connect to one network at a time, so if OSX is accessing your wireless access point, everything else on your machine is as well.
