Kaspersky Protection

I have WinXP running in the Virtual Environment on my iMAC.

Does the Parallels Internet Security, Powered by Kaspersky protect the Virtual Session only or does it also protect the iMAC OS X?
 
It only protects the guest OS, though dangerous software written for Windows is not compatible with Mac OS, i.e. it can't do any harm to Mac OS anyhow
 
Windows Vista Security Center refuses to enable Kaspersky

Everytime I try to turn Kaspersky protection on, Vista Security displays an error message... can't start the program because its identity cannot be trusted...
My virtual machine is practically unprotected... do you have a solution for this problem?
