Andrew, can you make sure that old kexts are really removed? This is done by "ls /System/Library/Extensions | grep prl" command. If the output is empty - then all is OK, the issue is solved. If it still shows kexts, the issue is not solved and may reappear in future. Will you please check this?

Dale, the output from nwgray is enough. Please just watch this thread for now.
nwgray, please perform the following:
1. run the "mkdir ~/Desktop/pddrivers_backup" command.
2. run the "sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/prl_* ~/Desktop/pddrivers_backup" command.
3. Reboot.
4. Run the "ls /System/Library/Extensions | grep prl". Check if its output is empty - it should be.
5. If so, check if the issue is still there.
