Keyboard freezes after OSX host wakes up with Windows guest running

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this is strictly limited to a Windows guest OS, but I've noticed since V12 (possibly V11), when I put my Macbook Pro to sleep and wake it up, my keyboard intermittently doesn't work until I 4-finger swipe into the guest OS, give something in there focus and swipe back.
Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution?

Yes in fact I completely reinstalled my operating system as well (I was doing it anyway). Sierra with full update and Parallels V12 as host OS, Windows 7 w/updates for Guest OS.
