Keyboard not working in Edge or Cortina

I have been having similar problems for a while and was excited to find this discussion. Unfortunately, the file cftmon.exe does not exist in my Windows 10 installation. I have searched the system32 folder but it is not there.

Can anybody advise me how I install these files?

Press Win + R (to open Run )
copy paste and press enter to run this program. "C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe" (without quotation marks, no application window will open and nothing will seem to happen.because, after being launched, the application will simply run hidden in the background) and then check if it works.

Sorry, but i have the same problem. I run =
Win + R (to open Run )
copy paste and press enter to run this program. "C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe" (without quotation marks) - restart Windows, and nothing happens. I cant enter anything in the "Cortana Search Field" - Speaking works fine.
And now? what can i do?
