Keyboard problems with Quickbooks07

In Quickbooks, and no other Windows program, several keys, many of the important ones like e and f and r, act as shortcut keys bringing up new screens. Makes it hard to type a name on a check. Any solutions? As I said this only happens in Quickbooks, not Word or Excel.

With QB 2007 in my setup at least, I don't have this problem. Maybe it is something you have selected in Preferences?

Solved

I solved this one myself, but to contribute to the knowledge base for anyone with this problem in the future, the answer is shift-F1.

You mean that shift+F1 shut off whatever was making the "e," "f" and "r" keys act as shortcuts? Do you now what triggered that behavior in the first place?

Also, what kind of Mac are you using? (The function keys may differ.)
