I have been using Parallels now for about a year (I haven't upgraded to the new version yet) using Windows XP Home edition on my MacBook. A week ago, when I boot up WinXP in Parallels, it booted fine, but the little icon in the Task Bar (bottom right) shows the little LAN icon trying to establish a connection to the network wirelessly. It says it's "Acquiring a Network Address" but never does. Now everytime I boot up WinXP in Parallels, it is never able to acquire a network address. Meanwhile, network connectivity in OS-X is fine. A couple of days later, I've been noticing that everytime I boot into WinXP using Parallels, it takes a much longer time (minutes) than normal to boot into WinXP. At this point I can't tell if it's a hard drive failure (WinXP was installed in a partition of the main HD using Bootcamp), a WinXP failure, or a Parallels failure for both the issues above. Any advice or solution on these issues would be tremendously helpful as I don't really know what to do about it.
