LAN setting compatibility

Hi,
I'm using the OS 10.4 system and I installed parallel 3.0 yesterday to run windows xp in my computer.

I'm a game fan. I install the parallel is mainly for playing windows games on my mac.

I and my friends always play warcraft 3 through LAN. I installed the game twice in my computer, once in the os side and the other in the windows side. If I run the game installed in the os, I can see the games my friends create in LAN and join it. But if I run the game installed in windows, the games they create is invisible.

Any ideas?

Your virtual machine must be in the Shared Networking mode, this way it would be unaccessible from the outside.

Try switching to Bridged networking, this should help. You can read more about it in the following documentation:

It is for Parallels 4.0 but, as far as I know, there is no any difference how these network modes work in both versions.
