Hello, anyone using Leopard Server under Parallels Desktop 14? No matter how I configure it, if two CPU cores are allocated to the guest OS, they are both at 100% all the time when the guest is running - Activity Monitor in the host shows 200% for the guest with Leopard Server. But in guest, Activity Monitor shows about 10% maximum for all processes. Someone has a similar problem?

  2. Hi, are you running any specific app at your VM? Or you got 100% right after start?

Hi, 100% right after start, respectively its 200% if 2 cores are allocated, 400% if 4 cores are allocated etc (host load in Activity Monitor). And under guest nothing is running and guests Activity Monitor shows about 5-10% CPU.

Let us know the host macOS X you are using.

Its El Capitan 10.11.6 on Xserve 2009, but i just try it on Parallels Desktop 15 Trial on iMac Pro and and it behaves the same way as on El Capitan with Parallels 14. Clean install of Leopard Server 10.5.8. It looks like some bug of Parallels. Until now we have been using Parallels Desktop 9, where there was no problem with Leopard Server.

Edit: Colleague just try it on Parallels Desktop 13, host High Sierra and it behaves the same way too.

  6. Hi, actually, recommended macOS for Parallels Desktop 15 is Catalina, macOS Mojave 10.14, macOS High Sierra 10.13, macOS Sierra 10.12.
Looks like that this maybe a cause of the issue.

Hello, yes, we try PD 15 on iMac Pro and macOS Mojave. Same problem.

  8. Could you please collect the tech report once the issue reoccurs and post the report's ID here?
