I ran out of disk space, and after some research discovered /Library/Logs/parallels.log.1 grew to 39.7GB
The file is filled with this over and over again:

    Hello,
    1. Launch Parallels Desktop.
    2. From the Parallels Desktop menu, click Parallels Desktop-> Preferences -> Advanced -> Uncheck /disable "Use Detailed log messages".
    3. Delete the Parallels.log files manually.
If the issue still persists, please start your Virtual Machine and create a Problem Report ID as suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/9058 and provide us the Problem Report ID number. We will check it and help you further.

Same occurred to me this evening ... no VMs running at the time. Quitting Parallels stopped the log messages from occurring, and restarting Parallels directly did not cause the issue to appear again. Still have to manually delete the log file ... Sad to see this has not been fixed in over two years. Running PD 10.4.0 (29337) on OSX 10.11.4. I was working in OmniGraffle at the time, so I assume some object I put in the clipboard caused the bug.

The logs looked like this before the event. You can see the transition right at the bottom. A full six minutes went by after a successful log rotation before Parallels started complaining about the clipboard. It seems not to be able to handle error conditions very well ....

    Hi JonathanN3,

Perform the below steps & check how it goes :
    * Uninstall Parallels Desktop using PDremove.app
    * Run " First Aid " ( Open Disk utility from Mac application folder > Select your MacintoshHD on the left side of the window, select "First Aid" tab on the right side )
    * After this is complete, close Disk Utility and restart you Mac computer.
    * Reinstall latest version of Parallels Desktop.

Hey there Dhana, the actual fix for this is to do a root cause analysis and fix it :)
It happened to me. Logs went from 300 MB to 35GB in < 1 hour.
If you'd like I'll happily upload the logs to your system for analysis :)
