Link 10.211.55.2 to localhost

I'm a business user of Parallels Desktop. I have a Mac, and has installed Windows as virtual machine.

Under the Mac, https://localhost:8000 runs well a local website, I want to test the same address https://localhost:8000 in IE under Windows. Could anyone tell me how to set up that?

First, https://10.211.55.2:8000/ under Windows launches well the website. So I want to link 10.211.55.2 to localhost. I tried to edit c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts and added "10.211.55.2 localhost" in the end. It still did not work; the browser showed "
Cannot reach this page".

Could anyone help?
