So I'm running a CentOS 5.7 guest OS. I want it to have access to my Macintosh HardDrive (really my IDisk) where I'm keeping project files.

I need to compile/run (verilog) simulations using VCS on my VM.
The run script I'm using makes use of symbolic links to work. Under the psf mount all symbolic links seem list (they have been replaced with a copy of the file it's linked to). This breaks the pearl script I'm running as it needs the correct path to the directory it's running from.

Is there a way to get symbolic links to work in /media/psf?

This issue is not apparent in VMWare Fusion (i.e they handle links fine for mapped drives under /hgfs...).

This could be a buying decision for future licenses. We need links to work to setup our machines.
