Hi,

I'm a reseller testing the ApplicationServer (6.0 build 419). I have the server side installed (Small or Medium Business configuration) and I published an app (Internet Explorer).

I'm trying to test the Linux client on an Ubuntu 7.10 (32-bit) workstation.

I downloaded the Linux clients (.tar.bz and .rpm both) (v 4.3). However, I'm unable to get anything to work. I get no error messages at the Linux console or on the server (I enabled logging). Nothing comes up on the screen either.

I tried as a regular user and as root.

I tried manually extracting the .tar.bz to /opt and I tried using alien to install the .rpm.

I tried various command lines with the same result...nothing.

Apparently, there is no documentation on the Linux client other than the command line help?

Any pointers at all appreciated.

Under the doc directory there should be a README file with some examples.

Can you please post the command line that you are using to run the client?

I suggest that you append the -o 3 option to see any exit status messages.

I have a converted .deb package for ubuntu 7.10 x86 and x86_64 if you're interested. The tar package is tricky to get installed in Ubuntu correctly. Let me know and I can throw it up on the web somewhere.
