Live Update never finishes on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on parallels

Hi.
Just used Parallels to install Windows 7 professional 64 bit using and external drive as by SuperDrive is not reading DVDs on my iMac.
Windows installed but when I run live update it keeps looking for updates but never finds any even after 24 hours.
I already tied the solution posted here: http://kb.parallels.com/en/122613
I couldn't find the "FIX IT" option in parallels and the second option gave several errors and didn't fix the bug.
Also found a post on another site here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...king-for/edbd6404-18db-43fe-85ac-537ec1ce829f
But that doesn't work. Both 32 bit and 64 bit files say this is not for my type of Windows..

Question 1: How do I get live update to work?
Question 2: Can Parallels install Windows into the BootCamp partition?

Hi Saabry, please open command prompt and onceit is open, type the following command and then press Enter.
sfc /scannow
System File Checker will now verify the integrity of every protected operating system file on your computer.
Restart your computer if sfc /scannow did actually repair any files.
Unfortunately, Parallels Desktop does not support Windows installation into the Bootcamp Partition.
