Logging into a W2003 domain - Applying computer setting........

I am in a windows 2003 network. Installed Parallels and all updates. Installed XP Pro. Booted just fine. I joined the domain. Now when I boot into XP, log into the domain it shows the green wheat field screen and "Applying computer setting..." forever.

Any idea why I can't logon to the domain?
