we are currently testing Parallels Pro 14.1.2 on an iMac (Intel i5-7500, 3.4 GHz) and we compared the Passmark benchmark with the values possible natively on this platform. Our results show that under Parallels the benchmark is only at 39% in respect to the native Win10 installation. Especially Integer and Floating point operations seem the be affected quite badly. We tried different settings for VM processor count and RAM amount but that didn't improve the benchmark.

Can anyone explain this rather bad performance under Parallels ?
