m1 and playing windows game which requires a an intel processor

hi there.

I need to have some advice please about this. The game I have looking at the technical specs of it. The software requires a intel processor. Can I still play the game in the windows 10 virtual machine on a Mac running the M1 chip or would it be best to stick to my intel Mac for the game?

The other apps are compatible, so I not worried about those.

I have an existing virtual machine on my intel Mac which I am using and would like to carry on using this if I decide to go for a new M1 Mac in the future.

might that's good to know. Thanks for this. I would think as time goes on the software will be updated and will run better.

You won't be able to migrate your VMs from Intel to M1, firstly. If you can find a version of the game that has a Universal Binary installer, then you should be able to run it Natively via Rosetta 2 (it'll ask to install that first if you haven't already).

Many thanks for this. I knew I would have to reinstall windows and my other apps. The more I think about it the more I have gone off the idea!
