Hi, I have a Windows Server 2008R2 RDP that i connect to with Parallels client (Mac and Windows) since several years. The configuration has not changed even though windows server may have pushed an update. Since 2 weeks the connection is extremely slow. It is not related to the network (the server is in a datacenter). The problem is from any location or network. When I use an iPhone to connect using Parallels client: speed is normal - the server shows no errors and all applications work as they should. Using windows remote client shows the same problem. It looks as if this is GPU / resolution related. I tried going for lower resolution and colordepth and disabeling GPU optimisations. Any clues as where to look for the solution? Thanks Arne
Our company also has problems with the new version of parallels client, problems with the resolution when using standard RDP connection since everything looks very small
Was there ever any resolution to this? I have the same issue -- phone and tablet versions work fine, but the desktop version is so slow it's unusable.
