mac desktop picture changes when i change from VM

HEy.

Just wondering if someone knows why when i change from my VM the desktop picture changes in my mac?

ok, o I start my mac up fine, open up VM, do my work and when I close it down it defaults to the mac desktop picture when I close it down.

I have just bought a mac book pro and am running windows xp home.

It does not do it all the time, I find that the software is very tempremental, sometimes when i open windows whe sound is very "bitty", but apart from that its fine.
