Mac M1 with Windows 11 on parallels lagging to connect to server once global protect connected

Once my connection to global protect is established on the mac side, the connection lags to join the server on the windows side and eventually shuts down without ever reaching anything. I have tried the solution detailed at "Virtual Machine fails to re-establish VPN connection" (https://kb.parallels.com/en/117112?...3.1573638033.1696392991-1597917540.1695827550), to no avail.

Hello!
Do you have the VPN client installed on the Mac side and the Shared network enabled for the Windows virtual machine? If not, please try it.
If the issue remains, kindly reproduce the issue and collect a technical report: click Parallels icon > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press 'Send Report' and send the report's 9-digit ID in your reply.
