I have a Mac Mini and a Mac 27". Both on MacOC High Sierra 10.13.2.
Currently I am running parallels 13 with windows 7 Ultimate.
The Mac 27" is running for app. 4 years with always current parallels versions. I am used to copy a whole pvm from time to time to my NAS.
Since parallels 13 I am facing error-36 during copy. This happened to me know several times. I deleted it, and used a backup version.
In 3 cases I have tried to adjust the partition with windows 7 System tool, and another time with partition magic before copy. After this I got error 36. Two times on the Mac 27".
This time I got the error on the Mac Mini, after I have used windows 7 diskdefrag. I am unable to backup the machine.
I checked the disk MacOS harddisk tool - no error. Same I did on the Mac 27" before.
The Mac 27" has a 1 TB ssd, the Mac Mini a 256 GB ssd.
I have never had this problem with parallels 10, 11 and 12.

How can I solve this problem?

Hi RalfB2. Did this issue start happening after attempting to adjust the Windows partition size? Or even before that? Please confirm. Also, kindly take a screenshot of the error-36 and include the same in your reply.

Yes, the issue did happen after adjusting the partition.
Today I tried to make a hardcopy of the error message.
It is strange, but I was able to copy the pvm three times. I don't understand.
    Is this self healing?
