Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.3 & Parallells 10 - unable to install OS Win7

I recently downloaded Parallels 10 for the first time in my Mac already working with OS Yosemite 10.10.3 and was unable to install OS Wndows 7pro32bits. Despite "reading" authomatically the Win7 installation CD from the optical drive, recognising OS Win7 in it and after introducing the activation key that I was asked for, no installation begins but an MS-DOS window is displayed trying unsuccesfully to boot from any drive and in the end it says "unable to boot" and then "this virtual machine has no OS intalled". Also tried to create an .iso image of my intallation cd, however Parallel's wizard would'nt even recognize any OS in it and no activation key is asked to fill in, working worst as the first option. I also tried:
-Changing connection point of optical drive entering to the Virtual Machine hardware CD/DVD 1 drive configuration (before installation) and trying to connect this drive to "DVD-CD predeterminated" instead of the default one. A message is displayed: "unable to connect CD/DVD 0".
- Changing the location of the drive from SATA to IDE 0:0
Nothing worked, the wizard is still unable to boot from any drive and proceed with the installation.
Colud it be possible Parallels 10 isn't working with Yosemite 10.10.3? Any solutions? Anyone installed sucessfully trough Parallels 10 an OS Windows running at the time of installation OS Yosemite 10.10.3?
 
Hi Manoj D., thanks for your suggestion, but I already tried to install it using an image.iso, as I said. I will recreate again he ISO image file just in case I did it wrong the first time because it didn't work.

This issue might have occurred because a CD/DVD drive or an ISO image that was connected to your virtual machine is no longer connected.
  1. Open your Virtual Machine's Configuration:
  2. Click Hardware tab and click CD/DVD 1.
  3. In the "Connected to:" drop down menu choose Default CD/DVD.

    If your Mac does not have a CD/DVD drive you can just clear the "Connected" check-box and please feel free to reply for further assistance. We will be happy to help you.

Thanks, but I also did that before posting here (as I tried to explain all my installation tryals in my first post, maybe I didn't tranlsate it properly because in spanish it says "predeterminado"). The result is:
1. When doing nothing to the default confguration of the VM, no boot device is avalaible, although "reading" at first de installation CD and asking for activation key, therefore, no installation will follow ("Parallels wizard-option1.png" as uploaded is displayed).

2. When changing VM configuration before/after installation tryal from the DVD drive with long name to Default CD/DVD a message is displayed "unable to connect CD/DVD 0", followed by the longer text "some drives or files are missing, it's being useed by other process o you may not have permission to do this. The Virtual machine will still work but the drive will be disconnected" ("Parallels wizard-option2.png" as uploaded shows this message in Spanish, tried to translate it).Parallels wizard -option2.png

Al this was tried in my boyfriend's Macbookpro with Yosemite 10.10.3 after failing the installation in my Mac mini with also Yosemite 10.10.3 but no CD/DVD drive when I tried to use the ISO image file I created in first place using the directions given in Parallels tutorial http://kb.parallels.com/4917.
I wanted to discard the failure of the installation CD which was the origin of de ISO image I used in first place, so I realized it was a problem with the boot device that may initiallize the installation, because Parallels Wizard did indeed recognise the Installation CD. I'll try to create again the ISO image file, just in case.
If you have more suggestions, please feel free to let me know, I'm really interested in using Parallels... at the moment I had to reinstall my old PC next to my Mac because I need to work with a program running only for OS Windows...:( :mad:

Hi Paul,
I am facing actually a problem while installing windows 10 using parallels. The error which i am getting says "Device drivers not found". I tried to find out the solution for the same and one solution which i got said that i have to change the location to IDE 0:0. Here while doing so in my setup of parallels 10 i am unable to change the location from SATA. Can you please help me by letting me know what exactly is the cause for this?
I am using MacBook Pro 2015 and have OS X el capitan installed in it.

Hi ShivendraD,

The error you are getting seems to be due to the ISO [e.g: Windows 10 Single Language ISO , Windows 10 N ISO] you are trying to use for creating a VM. I suggest you to download a complete Windows 10 ISO [named as just Windows 10] using this link then try to create a new virtual machine.

As per your instruction i downloaded the ISO file from the link but still i am facing the same issue.
Can you please tell me one thing that why this option of changing the location to IDE 0:0 is disabled for me under configuration? I am thinking to try that option as well.

Hi ShivendraD,
You will have to shut down Windows from Actions > shutdown or stop , then you can use this link to change virtual machine configuration.
