Mac Tahoe & Win 11 Issues

Running Parallels 26 on Mac desktop and just updated to Tahoe/OS26.
Prior, I had Mac icons that opened Windows 11 start menu & various Windows utilities. None of those links are now working.
They merely point to the Parallels/Windows Control Center.
I'm clueless as to how to reset those links

It sounds like the macOS upgrade to Tahoe (OS26) may have broken the integration between macOS and your Parallels virtual machine. This is fairly common after major OS updates. Here's what you can try to reset those links:

✅ Steps to Fix Broken Windows Shortcuts on macOS:
  1. Reinstall Parallels Tools
    • Start your Windows 11 VM.

    • In the top macOS menu bar, go to Actions > Reinstall Parallels Tools.

    • Let the process complete, then restart the VM.

    • This often restores broken links and integration features.
  2. Re-enable Application Sharing
    • Open Parallels Desktop > Control Center.

    • Right-click your VM > Configure > Options > Applications.

    • Ensure "Share Windows applications with Mac" is enabled.

    • If it's already on, try toggling it off, restart the VM, then turn it back on.
  3. Delete Old Shortcuts & Recreate Them
    • Go to your Mac Dock or Launchpad and remove the broken shortcuts.

    • Then open the Windows Start Menu inside the VM and launch the apps you want.

    • Parallels should automatically recreate the Mac-side shortcuts once the apps are opened.
