Hi Guys.
Need to install Parallels on my Air.

I know they suggest Parallels 12 needs 8 Gigs or Ram

Can it run on 4?

Spec on machine.
Running Sierra
I5
1.7 Gig
4Gig ram 1333 DDR3

Hello, Andy. What is the Windows version you're planning to run under Parallels Desktop? And what is the total/remaining disk space on your Mac?

I can run either 7 or 10.
Would prefer 10 but 7 will do if 10 is a bit heavy on resources.

@AndyA1 Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac supports both Windows 10 and Windows 7. Choice of the operating system is yours. If you have apps that run only in Windows 7 environment go with the same. If you want the latest Windows 10, yes you can install it too.
Note- Windows 10 requires at least 2 gigabytes of RAM to run.
