It appears that Parallels 9 does not support Shader Model 3 on the MacBook Pro Retina. Is this correct?
In my case I'm trying to run eve-online. I get an error panel that reads:
"Shader Model 3 (SM3) support is need to run this program."
I've seen numerous posts from users regarding non-Retina Macs (e.g. iMacs, etc.) that they have no problems running EVE in Parallels.
Does Parallels 9 support SM3 on a retina MacBook? If so, how do I activate it? If not, what if I upgrade to Parallels 10? I've already tried giving the graphics system a lot of memory, boosting overall Parallels memory, and turning off retina support (and of course making sure that DX 10 is turned on). Nothing seems to work.
