Hi! I have a clean macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 guest VM and I'm not able to install the current macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 - Update. After downloading the update mac OS asks for a restart. The black screen with the Apple logo appears for a few second the I get the login screen. After the login, the update is still available. Until yesterday I worked with Parallels 13 since today with Parallels 14. The same problem. What can I do to install the update? Thanks for your help!

BTW: I also tried to download the combo update from the Apple webpage. But the same effect. Apple logo after restart but just a reboot instead of the installation. Any ideas?

So many views but no answer? Is anybody out there?

  4. I installed 10.13.6 using the "From Recovery Partition" option ... OSX threw up all over itself when trying to log into iCloud.....
Something is badly wrong either at Apple or Parallels...

This update will work only if you update the mac from apple customer service and reboot your device for installing the newer version.
