I had a massive crash on my MBP that required erasing the internal drive, reinstalling the OS, and restoring from Time Machine. My Windows 10 VM was suspended when the crash happened but I have a backup of the .pvm file with the .hdd file contained within. However, starting Parallels and pointing to the .hdd brings up a BIOS like configuration screen and a message about not seeing the drive. See attached pictures. Any idea what I need to do to fix this?
Well, I've created a new VM and new Win10 installation, but I'd really like to get stuff off the .hdd file. It will not mount with Parallels Mounter. I've never had a VM so damaged that I couldn't even mount the .hdd. I saw some KB articles about editing a .xml file in the .hdd package but I have no idea if that will do anything. Anybody have any ideas on what I can do to at least mount this .hdd somehow?
