McAfee VS keeps reintalling

I have just downloaded the 3848 update for 4.0 and am running Vista (also up to date) For some reason I am able to uninstall MVC but it keeps installing again each time I reboot the virtual machine. Also the Parallels Tools keep being downloaded and reinstalled. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

I have checked manual instructions for McAfee uninstallation but get nowhere. I see there are still some McAfee keys in the registry. Can these be erased manually?

Hello Ivan,

Please download the Windows cleanup utility from the link provided below:

Later after installing it, check for the anti virus, if you find it in the list, remove it completely.

For Parallels Tools reinstallation, please follow these steps:

1) Go to start->control panel->add/remove programs.
2) Remove the Parallels Tools.
3) It will reboot after uninstall.
4) Again go to Virtual Machine->Install Parallels Tools.
5) This will install Parallels Tools and reboot.
6) It should work fine.
