Media Player broken sound in Vista

Just got a Vista Ultimate VM installed. Media Player seems very slow, playing MP3 file sounds like broken record. I also downloaded Quicktime 7 for Windows. The same MP3 file plays fine in Quicktime but not in Media Player. Anyone got any idea?

Here is my config:
iMac 20" Core Duo, 2G
Parallels 3188
Vista Ultimate VM: 852M RAM, 16M Video, 18G hdd, Bridged Network, USB disabled, Shared Folder disabled, Boot Camp 1.2 drivers installed.
 
We are aware of this problems in current version of Parallels Desktop. This will be fixed in future version of Parallels.
